Jesse Huber recognized by Prairie Business


Bismarck, N.D. – Bartlett & West’s Jesse Huber was recognized by Prairie Business on their annual Top 25 Women in Business list, which draws attention to the creative and successful businesswomen in North Dakota, South Dakota and western Minnesota, and their impact on the industry and economy in the region.

Huber is a designer in the water resources group at Bartlett & West. She joined the company in 2021 and has more than 20 years of experience in the engineering industry. She has associate’s degrees in liberal arts and applied science and an engineer technician degree from Bismarck State College. In addition to providing leadership within her team, Huber consistently demonstrates an exceptional, long-standing commitment to community service, volunteerism and youth development.

She serves as Bartlett & West’s United Way campaign manager raising funds for Missouri Slope Areawide United Way, leading the company to top 10 fundraisers for the 2024-2025 campaigns and Bartlett & West winning the Best in Show - Professional Division Award in 2025 and the Spirit of Bismarck-Mandan Award in 2025 and 2026. She participates every year in Bismarck’s Brave the Shave event, volunteering alongside her children and helping Bartlett & West’s team raise money for children’s cancer research. One of her most meaningful involvements was co-founding Penny’s Passion in honor of her mother who died of brain cancer. Penny’s Passion creates care packages for brain tumor patients and children receiving a first cancer diagnosis.

Huber has volunteered with Junior Achievement since 2016 and held multiple leadership roles with Bismarck’s Northridge Elementary School Parent-Teacher Organization from 2016-2025, including president. Beyond school involvement, Huber has invested hours coaching and supporting youth athletics, serving as a T-ball coach, dugout coordinator, team manager and coach for youth baseball, soccer and volleyball teams.

Along with a vast array of volunteerism, Huber also gives back through faith-based service as a church school teacher and confirmation leader at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Bismarck.
